As an institution of higher learning it has continuously progressed since its inception 16 years ago to scale new heights of academic excellence, based on the philosophy that university stands for humanism, tolerance, reason, the adventure of ideas and search for truth. At Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University), we believe that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but also about fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for lifelong learning. Our commitment to excellence is evident in our distinguished faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and comprehensive programs that span a wide array of disciplines including LL.B., B.A. LL.B. M.B.A., MCA (2009-2010) and LL.M.. In addition we have Journalism, Library Science, Music, B.B.A., B.C.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., B.T.C., B.Ed.(HI), M.Ed.(H.I.), P.G.D.C.A.. Each Course has the approval of the concerned regulatory authority. The HEI has implemented NEP-2020 through 04 Year UG Programmes in B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., with Honours/Hounours with Research from Academic Session 2023-24. The PG Programmes include M.A., M.Sc. in Maths, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Physics & M.Com. & M.S.W. (Master of Social Work).
We have undertaken intensive & extensive research work in all the branches of learning available in the HEI.
We have many more miles to cover, Medical (M.B.B.S.), Para Medical, Polytechnic, Agricultural Institute are already in the pipeline. We hope to commence them at earliest. The HEI witnessed continuation of large scale construction work, adequate provision of all facilities and the beautification.
We aim to provide world class education to our students and our efforts are bearing fruit in this direction. Our University's Potential has been acknowledged by UK based Oxford Summit of Leaders- Science & Education, where they appreciated our successful work in professional, Scientific and educational directions. Their Socrates committee, bestowed upon us the epithet of Best Regional University, for stainless reputation, dynamic growth and sustainable scientific achievements.
Our first and foremost objective is to cater to the socially underprivileged, poor and backward sections of the remote rural areas with easy accessibility and affordability. We also aim at an all-inclusive growth ensuring maximum placement through professional & Vocational programmes.
We are grateful for the sincere support of all concerned particularly, staff and students of the University for their devotion, dedication & cooperation in all respects.
May we extend a hearty welcome to the new comers and appeal to them to devote themselves fully for an all-round development of their personality enabling them to serve the society and the country in the best possible way.
