Dean Student Welfare & Student Council

 

The dean of student's welfare (DSW) looks after the protection of rights and supervises the welfare activities of the student's of Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University), Kotwa, Jamunipur, Dubawal, Prayagraj, UP, India. DSW promotes and co-ordinates the different students activities. DSW tries to nurture students mental, physical, social, cultural growth with various activities to improve there overall personality development.

 

                The NGB(DU) has constituted Student's Council as per the UGC Guidelines. The  student ensures healthy, joyful, educative and playful environment for the students in the University by encouraging the students to participate in various University academic and co-curricular activities.

 

Student welfare is an important component on the overall management of student matters. To facilitate efficient provision of the welfare services. The University has several sections , such as Career Guidance and Counseling, Hostel and accomodation, transport, Banking, Canteen, Youth Festivals, NCC, NSS, Yoga etc. The cultural activities are aimed at providing a platform for Drama, Music, Dance and Singing talents among the students of this University.

 

Objectives:

 

► To ensure eefficient provision of all welfare services to students.

 To facilitate efficient and effective communication between the student community on one hand and the University administration on the other.

 To offer guidance and counselling in all aspects to students generally and individual students in particular.

 To offer support and facilitate participation of students in co-curricular activities such as games, drama, music, clubs seminar/webinar, conference and societies etc.

 To offer guidance, support and assistance whereever possible to students with finncial difficulties.

 Maintain a University and Welfare climates conducive to learning. ensure a safe and secure environment where basic needs are met encourage appropriate forms of behaviour and protect students from harm.

 Develop a realistic and comprehensive self concept, enhance their self-esteem, develop their interest and abilities

 

Students Council assist in managing university operations and play significant roles in numerous committees and cells, including:
